Biography:
Dr. Kim Paffenroth is an Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Iona School of Arts & Science. He has a PhD in Theology from the University of Notre Dame an M.T.S. in Biblical Studies from Harvard Divinity School, and a BA in Liberal Arts from St. John's College. Dr. Paffenroth is most interested in the Christian Scriptures, both in their original context, and in their re-appropriation in subsequent literature, as well as their application in modern Christian life. Particular issues he investigates are the nature and depiction of evil, and the relation between reason and faith.
