A.J. Benza

Biography:

AJ Benza was the host of "High Stakes Poker," which enjoyed its fifth season as GSN’s highest-rated show. Benza also provides TV color commentary for "Fatal Femmes Fighting," and "Action Fights Mixed-Martial Arts League." He also hosted PAX’s "Cold Turkey" for two seasons. Prior to that, he was the host of E! Entertainment Television’s successful 5-year series "Mysteries & Scandals" and the network’s short-lived yet highly-original late-night talk show, "A.J. After Hours."

In 2001, Benza published his memoirs, "Fame, Ain’t It A Bitch," a critically-acclaimed, highly-charged account of his rise to power and fall from grace as New York City’s most controversial columnist of the 1990's. The Weinstein Company has purchased the film and television rights. He is currently at work on his second book. Benza is also a regular contributor to PLAYBOY and has been published in many publications including RAZOR, COSMO, THE L.A. TIMES and THE NY POST.
